Collaborative leadership helps improve health and wellbeing outcomes in work with individuals, families, teams, and whole communities. The use of a collaborative leadership style is focused on working with others, building relationships and trust, using interpersonal skills effectively, and it is not overly hierarchical. Leadership becomes a joint venture that has the potential to increase meaningful change that contributes to personal, social and cultural wellbeing.
In this workshop, you will consider a strengths-based and values-led approach to collaborative leadership. You will participate in activities where you identify how to translate the principles of collaborative leadership into everyday practices that you can use to enhance health and wellbeing outcomes for staff, students, and whole school communities.
